History Of The Trail

Back in 1995, Mark Teal and Fred Huffman had a vision to create the best bass tournament trail in the midsouth. With years of experience already under their belt, they began recruiting other fishermen to come alongside them to work together to fashion a unique and challenging trail that true fishermen would appreciate. They have grown to a trail size of over 50 teams and look to double in the next three years, something they are very proud of.

Trail Lakes

The original "Tri" Lakes: Tim's Ford, Normandy, & Woods Reservoir, were chosen based on their location and their quality of fish. These three lakes are very central to the southern middle Tennessee region, thus making each one a good candidate for an accessable and enjoyable day on the lake. Each lake has its own characteristics, of course, and more information on individual lakes and current conditions for them can be found in the weather and lake information page. The last few years it was decided that it was time to spread the region a bit farther and hence included Chattanooga's Lake Nickajack and Alabama's Lake Guntersville, a decision that has been found to be very worthwhile.
